Jacob Collier Masterclass

This is a free event hosted by the Centre for Music Performance for students at the University of Cambridge.

Jacob Collier is a London-based five-times Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger and producer dubbed by many as one of the most innovative musicians of his generation. His success has led to musical collaborations with the likes of Coldplay, Ty Dolla $ign, Tori Kelly, Daniel Caesar, Charlie Puth, Jessie Reyez, T-Pain, and SZA (to name but a few). Jacob has also worked with a host of global artists such as the celebrated Dutch orchestra the Metropole Orkest and legendary West African musician Oumou Sangaré. He is currently in the midst of a quadruple album project titled “Djesse”, from which Volumes 1, 2, & 3 have earned him a GRAMMY each, cementing him as the first British artist to win a Grammy for each of his first four albums.

The new Centre for Music Performance has been established to enable students of all subjects and background to make music in all its forms a core part of the all-round educational experience on offer at Cambridge. It will begin full operations from October 2022.
