On Saturday 5th November we will be hosting legendary funk and jazz musician Mo Pleasure, former Musical Director of Earth, Wind & Fire. Mo will be taking an interactive masterclass with the University Jazz Orchestra (CUJO) in the Recital Room at the Music Faculty, where he will work with the students on various aspects of jazz musicianship. An award-winning multi-instrumentalist, Mo has played alongside the likes of Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, and Chaka Khan, most recently running his own groups and working with Bette Midler. The event will be free for students to attend, but due to limited capacity we will release ticket details in the coming weeks.
